The Pearl District is one of the hottest neighborhoods in the city, and is a popular destination for arts and cultural activities as well as bars and nightlife. It offers extensive options for dining, shopping and has a bit of something for everyone; young professionals will applaud it’s nightlife, yet it was also named one of the Best Neighborhoods to Retire in 2007 by Money Magazine.
Of course, all the excitement has also served to drive real estate prices up higer than in many other parts of the city, in which case you may find it a nice place just to go for a stroll, with many hip art galleries and boutiques to browse.
