Arbor Lodge

Overview

This ever growing neighborhood has seen a frenzy of positive growth in recent years. Due in part to the increase of young homebuyers and city-sponsored improvements such as the new Light Rail expansion, homes in this area continue to appreciate at record rates.

Residents of the Arbor Lodge neighborhood take pride in their community and show their spirit by investing in each other and the eclectic array of locally owned shops and restaurants in the area. The recent addition of the New Seasons Market and an expanded Fred Meyer superstore have helped anchor the commercial district and improve the area’s profile.

Parks & Recreation

Arbor Lodge Park is the primary neighborhood day park for joggers, picnickers, families and anyone interested in relaxing under the shade of its many old growth trees. The park also offers a newly renovated playground, playing field and free Wi-Fi access. Just to the west of the Arbor Lodge neighborhood is Peninsula Park, the site of Portland’s first official Rose Garden. At over 16 acres, this historic park has all the modern amenities you would expect including a lighted wading pool, disabled access to the many open-air and covered picnic areas, public art and a large stage for outdoor performances.

Real Estate

Homes in the Arbor Lodge neighborhood range from classic Old Portland, Cape Cod and Bungalow to Tudor and Ranch styles.  Arbor Lodge is a more affordable alternative to the trendy neighborhoods of NE Portland, without giving up the charm and accessibility to downtown.
