Roseway

Overview

This inner NE Portland neighborhood is known for its family oriented community, excellent public transportation access and proximity to the thriving commercial and entertainment area of NE Sandy Boulevard.

Once considered a less than desirable area, the Roseway neighborhood is beginning to blossom as more residents focus on home improvement and property values continue to rise.  The Roseway Theater, one of the gems of the neighborhood, has been showing first-run films since 1925 and still enjoys a sterling reputation among the city’s independent movie houses.

Parks & Recreation

Glenhaven and Wellington Parks are the Roseway neighborhood’s local area day parks featuring playing fields, ball courts, play structures, picnic sites and lovely walking paths winding among ancient, towering trees.

Real Estate

Homes in the Roseway neighborhood tend to reflect the typical pre-war and mid-century taste in architecture with an abundance of split-level, Bungalow, English Cottage and Cape Cod styles.  Some new construction of custom designs, Condos and Row Houses can also be found in the area.

"Working with Paul Johnson in purchasing our first home was a wonderful experience. His attention to detail and willingness to explain and lead us through all aspects of the home buying process made our first purchase a fantastic experience."
