Overview
Situated along the southern border of Multnomah County, the Brentwood-Darlington neighborhood has many of the characteristics common to inner Southeast areas including a urban atmosphere and easy access to highways, recreational areas and shopping centers.
Due to the efforts of residents and city-sponsored revitalization programs, Brentwood-Darlington is slowly coming into its own as an affordable, livable place to call home. With an active Community Association and multitude of green spaces, this neighborhood attracts many first-time homebuyers and young families.
Parks & Recreation
Brentwood Park, the 14.5 acre day park located near the center of the neighborhood, offers paved walking paths, picnic areas, ball fields and an off-leash area for dogs. Flavel Park and Harney Park are the Brentwood-Darlington neighborhood’s other day parks and sport many of the same amenities. At the Southern border of the neighborhood lies the Errol Heights Property, a public recreational area with 3 spring-fed ponds and miles of natural hiking trails, as well as an entrance to the Springwater Corridor: the major portion of the 40-Mile Loop multi-use trail.
Real Estate
The Brentwood-Darlington neighborhood is filled with a variety of home styles with many Bungalow, Craftsman and newly constructed Townhomes and Condos to choose from.
