Overview
The Lents neighborhood in SE Portland is an area targeted by the city for revitalization. It is one of the most affordable inner south east neighborhoods and offers a nice mix of residential communities, while still being close to major roadways for plenty of access to shopping and other amenities and an easy downtown commute. One nice attribute is that Lents is right on the MAX lightrail line which makes Downtown accessable even for people without cars.
Parks & Recreation
Lents is just minutes to Clackamas Town Center, one of the Eastsides Large Malls. Neighborhood parks such as Lents and Glenwood are popular places for family and community activities. Residents enjoy bike rides along the Woody Guthrie Trail, and enjoy the harvest season at Zenger Farm.
Real Estate
There are many modest home styles that are found in Lents from ranches to bungalows to split levels and many townhomes and condos. From an investment standpoint, Lents may be a great area to own as it continues to get a facelift and gentrification takes over.
